On May 27th , 7 young men and a coach/staff member from CHHS participated in the Annual ABC Bowl which pits the top football players from Alberta against the Top from BC.

Creed Willette, Danny Gardiner and  Josh Keen playing for Current Stars (Gr 11), and Benn Simmonds (parkside pythons), Kaden Wagner, Terek Hieb, Riley Rutledge joined Coach Metz (offensive coordinator) , on the Rising Selects (gr 9-10 team). The boys spent the weekend at U of L in Residence and played in front of a large crowd, lots of scouts, and a jumbo tron showing replays, the game was also streamed across Canada and the US. As it turned out both teams came up short with the Current Stars losing 46-14 and the Rising selects losing 48-28 in a shootout. All the boys contributed and played key roles. Kaden Wagner caught two TD passes and received outstanding Back/Receiver for Alberta. Josh Keen recovered two fumbles in his teams game. The opportunity was a great one for these players and they represented us well.
