CHHS Cross Country Running
CHHS Cross Country Running At CHHS, cross country running is more than just a sport—it's an opportunity for athletes of all skill levels to challenge themselves, build endurance, and form lasting friendships. Open to students in grades 7-12, our program welcomes everyone, from seasoned runners to those just starting their journey, offering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. The season runs from the first week of school to mid-October, featuring 2-4 exhilarating races, including the iconic Herter Hill and Echo Dale events, as well as Zones and Provincials. Practices are right after school from 3PM-4PM 2-3 times a week. Guided by Miss Letwiniuk, a coach with a strong background in personal training, our athletes push their limits with a mix of hill runs, long-distance workouts, interval training, and stair sessions, all within the school zone. Whether your goal is to stay in shape, compete at a high level, or simply try something new, there's a place for you on the team. Join the CHHS Vikings Cross Country team and discover the strength, resilience, and camaraderie that define our program!
