Information for Completing High School
A minimum entry mark of 50% is necessary to go on to the next level in any course or program. In many cases, an entry mark of 60% or higher is recommended to provide the chance of success at the next level.
Please note: Marks for entry shown in the following pages are recommendations by the department. Transfers to a lower level course may occur if the student isn’t finding success. Students will be directed to the level/program offering the best chance of success and satisfaction.
All students in Grades 10 and 11 require a full timetable.
All students in Grade 12 require six courses.
CHHS Graduation Ceremony Requirements
Crescent Heights High School holds graduation/commencement exercises in early June of each year. Students must:
- Have completed a graduation credit check with the counselor
- Meet Alberta Education Diploma requirements
- Have passing marks in classes required for graduation at grad list deadline
- Have updated Work Experience time sheets and credits
- Must be within 50 Hours (2 Credits) of grad credit requirement at grad list deadline.

Certificate of High School AchievementThere is a mandatory grad fee. Please view the current “Student Fees” on the school website under “Resources” to find the graduation fee.
