On Alert

An On Alert was called during our second period to allow school administration and EMS the space they needed to respond to an emergency in the building. Staff and students were asked to stay safely inside their classrooms for a brief period, and school proceeded as normal until the All Clear was called. During this situation, students remained in their Period 2 classes for approximately 15 additional minutes before transitioning to Period 3. Teachers will work with students to address any learning activities or class time that may have been missed because of the delayed class change. We will always inform parents once it is safe to do so, sharing basic information about the situation that has occurred to protect the privacy of the individuals involved.  

The families of those who were personally affected have received direct communication from school administration.
